Knowing where we want to go
Strategies. Every government has them. They are the signature documents that outline a vision and a roadmap for getting there. On their own, they will not solve our problems, or guarantee us a secure and prosperous future, but a clear vision backed up with appropriate legislative, fiscal, and promotional tools is a catalyst for action.
Canada needs strong conservation strategies. We need a clear vision of a future based on a healthy environment and the conservation of natural resources. We need strategies that connect conservation with economic resilience, a lower cost of living, healthy communities, and personal health and well-being.
